Our Fils Coupés
At the heart of our proficiency is the rare and precious fils coupé ” technique This silky, light and airy fabric is obtained by the floating of the weft thread on the warp ground. The excess yarn is clipped off to reveal the transparency of the silk chiffon and thus revealing the pattern. Gold, metal, viscose or cotton thread naturally enrich these silks. The value of the silks is high-lighted by the finishing of our fabrics thanks to numerous dyeing processes, such as :plain dyeing, ombré, batiks or hand-painted combined with our transfer printing equipment to create a unique effect.
